American and Import Auto Parts has been a family-owned and operated salvage yard in the same location for over 30 years. Every part we sell comes with a free 30-day Parts Warranty. We perform pre-sale testing on all parts sold for both parties’ benefit. We do not want to waste our time pulling a bad part, or your time installing it. Our company is proud to offer a Parts Warranty or Parts and Labor Warranty on every part we sell, as listed below.

Terms
We have been in the business for a long time, and have an understanding of our customer. We understand you are here because your current part has failed you. The part we are selling you is not something we have engineered or manufactured, but we do believe is a solid, working product that will perform as originally intended.

To avoid argument of whether a part was installed correctly, we limit our offer any of the Labor Warranties to customers who use a licensed mechanic to perform all aspects of the part’s installation. Documentation of the licensed mechanic’s installation (as well as documentation of oil changes every 5,000 miles on engines) will be required to make a claim against a Labor Warranty. In the case of a legitimate Labor Warranty claim, we can offer to compensate book labor rate at a maximum of $60 per hour, at a shop of our approval.

The maximum payout for the repair, replacement or reimbursement of any part, including allowances for labor charges will be in the amount equal to 1.5 times the purchase price not including the price of warranty. The warranty is void if the part is installed incorrectly, installed by a non-licensed mechanic, or abused by customer.
